November Winds & A New Moon

As October fades into the past, November arrives with loud, dynamic winds here in Stockholm, promising a fresh start. Yesterday, the streets were alive with children in colorful costumes, scouting for candy and celebrating creativity and joy. Meanwhile, others celebrated Diwali “the Festival of Lights”, illuminating lives with hope and positivity.

Today, we welcome a new moon, a powerful symbol of fresh beginnings. Let this energy inspire you to reflect and recalibrate. Connect with your heart and allow authenticity to guide your journey of self-discovery and expression. Every moment of change invites us to better ourselves, and now is the perfect opportunity to take that leap. Embrace your voice and the unique gifts you bring to the world.

The picture of me is from the last week of October, enjoying a cup of hot coffe on a sunny day in beautiful Rosendals Trädgård in Stockholm.

Field hockey, Blue Zones, Spicey food & Mindset

Blog post about Blue zones playing chess and spicy food

I come from a family deeply immersed in the world of sports-traditions. My mother played a key role in bringing field hockey to Sweden, having competed at high levels in India and Uganda while studying. Growing up, sports were just part of everyday life; I travelled with the national team and joined her men’s and women’s teams across Europe, where they would call me their mascot. As a smaller child, I always thought “mascot” meant substitute, so I would eagerly wait for someone to tell me it was my turn to play. I should have been worried they would call me, since i never practised myself, but I was disappointed at the end of each game. My father balanced his love for sports like cricket and table tennis with his career as a chef, caterer, and restaurant owner, while my brother grew up playing soccer. Basically everyone in our household participated in sports a few times a week, and tennis is still a strong tradition. I was always very active but apart from always being with my family members at their practises, dancing, singing, storytelling, and writing was on my mind. Until my early twenties, when I feel in love with martial arts and from there everything went very fast, as things do with me when I decide I’m all in. And the rest as they say is history.

Our home was always lively, filled with the aroma of my father’s cooking, the sounds of laughter, and intense discussions during dinner parties, hosted by my parents. My father would often end the night challenging someone to a game of chess or seeing who could handle the spiciest food, or a game of table tennis.

It wasn’t until I began studying to become a Health and Lifestyle Coach (in 2016) that I discovered the concept of Blue Zones. As I delved deeper into what they entail—longevity, community, purpose—I realized that much of my upbringing mirrored these principles. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the benefits of staying active, maintaining strong social connections, and embracing life with energy and joy. My parents never used age as an excuse, which is a mindset I deeply appreciate today.

I believe wholeheartedly in the power of the mind and its synergy with intuition (gut feeling) and the heart. These lessons have shaped who I am and how I approach wellness and life itself.

Podcast host & Blogger

Welcome to my corner of exploration, curiosity, and growth! I’m a podcast host, new blogger, and lifelong lover of language with a deep passion for mindset, strategy, entrepreneurship, self-management, science, quantum physics, spirituality, astrology, etc. My podcasting journey began with Vinnarskallarpodden in 2019, diving into the minds of achievers, and continued with NTRY Founders Battle Podcast in 2023, where I explored the insights of startup founders and investors alike. Now, I’m thrilled to introduce a third podcast, one that will delve even further into a bunch of interesting topics, im a bit of a curious nerd.

Though blogging is new to me, words have been my world since childhood. Before I knew the alphabet, I’d “read” to anyone willing to listen, bringing books to life with my own creative interpretations. Once I learned to write, I filled countless journals, began writing novels and short stories (though none made it to publication, but it’s never to late hey), and have always found joy in storytelling. I spent many years as a singer-songwriter, crafting lyrics and melodies, and spoken word, oh how I love spoken word—a creative outlet I still enjoy now and then.

In my blog and podcasts, you’ll find my lifelong passion for words infused into thoughtful conversations and stories. I’ll be exploring favorite topics and hosting diverse experts who bring fresh insights. So, bear with me as I embark on this blogging journey! I can’t wait to share this storytelling adventure with you and continue building a space for curiosity, insight, and inspiration.

Both Swedish and English are my first languages, as I grew up speaking both at home and have lived and studied in three English-speaking countries. Writing in English feels natural and allows me to connect with family and friends worldwide. While Swedish is my native tongue, English creates an inclusive space for everyone to follow along—and with Swedes being known for their strong English skills, it’s a choice that feels right for my international background.
